By Air (via Nagasaki Airport)
- Flights: Connect to Nagasaki Airport (NGS) via major hubs such as Tokyo (Haneda/Narita) or Osaka (Kansai/Itami).
- To City Center: Take the airport limousine bus directly to central Nagasaki. (Travel time: approx. 45–60 minutes)
By Train & Shinkansen (via Fukuoka)
- From Fukuoka Airport (FUK): Take the subway to Hakata Station (approx. 5 minutes).
- From Hakata Station: Board the "Relay Kamome" Limited Express to Takeo-Onsen Station (approx. 60 minutes).
- Transfer: At Takeo-Onsen, make a smooth cross-platform transfer to the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen bound for Nagasaki Station (approx. 30 minutes).

We recommend checking the nearest bus stop to your hotel in advance, for example by using an AI search tool or online map service.
To travel from Nagasaki Airport to Nagasaki City, you will mainly use one of the following two airport bus services. Since hotels in Nagasaki are located in different areas of the city, it is important to confirm the nearest bus stop before your trip.
Nagasaki Airport Limousine Bus
This is the most commonly used route and is convenient for reaching Nagasaki Station, the downtown area, and major tourist attractions.
Major stops and nearby areas include:
- Nagasaki Station
- Dejima
- Chinatown
- Shianbashi
- Hamamachi
This route is convenient if your destination is located in or near these areas.
Nagasaki Airport Liner
This is a faster route that uses the expressway (Dejima Road) to reach the city center.
Features:
- Fewer stops along the way
- Faster access to the city center
- Direct service to Nagasaki Station and the downtown area
2. Travel Time: Approximately 45–50 Minutes (Traffic May Affect Travel Time)
Estimated travel time:
- Normal conditions: about 45 minutes
- During traffic congestion: about 60 minutes
3. No Reservation Required (Seats May Be Full)
For the Nagasaki Airport buses:
- No reservation is required
- Boarding is on a first-come, first-served basis
- Please note that the bus may become full during busy periods such as the tourist season, school trip periods, or when cruise ships arrive.
- If the bus is full, you may need to wait for the next departure, which usually arrives about 15–20 minutes later.
4. Last Bus
Estimated last bus time:
- From Nagasaki Airport to Nagasaki Station
- Around 9:30 PM – 10:00 PM
